1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using JotDeck (“the App”), these terms will automatically apply to you. You should make sure that you read them carefully before using the App. You are not allowed to copy or modify the App, any part of the App, or our trademarks in any way.

2. Use of the App

JotDeck is provided to you for personal, non-commercial use. The App is designed as an offline-first note-taking tool. You are solely responsible for the notes, data, and content you create and store within the App.

3. Data Storage and Backup

Because JotDeck operates entirely offline, all your data is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your notes, nor do we store them on our servers. You are solely responsible for backing up your device and your data. We are not liable for any data loss caused by device failure, accidental deletion, or uninstalling the App.

4. Updates and Changes

We may update the App at any time to improve performance, enhance functionality, reflect changes to the operating system, or address security issues. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the App or any service to which it connects, with or without notice.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JotDeck is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
